What this Privacy Policy Covers

This privacy policy covers TrakLogger's treatment of personally identifiable information including time logs collected by TrakLogger through websites owned and operated by TrakLogger, native OS timer applications and extensions published by TrakLogger.

This privacy policy does not apply to the practices of companies that TrakLogger does not own or control, or of persons that TrakLogger does not employ or manage, including any third-party content contributors bound by contract and any third-party websites to which TrakLogger websites link.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

You can visit the websites of TrakLogger without revealing any personal information. However, TrakLogger needs certain personal information if you wish to use services provided by TrakLogger including use of our Timer Application and extensions.

Where required, this information may include your personal contact information and/or your company contact information. TrakLogger will use this information to reply to your inquiries, to provide you with requested services, to set up your account, and to contact you regarding the services you signed up for.

By accessing the services of TrakLogger and voluntarily providing us with the requested personal information, you consent to the collection and use of the information in accordance with this privacy policy.

Collection and Use of Geolocation Information

TrakLogger also captures precise geolocation data from your device to enhance field operations. This information is used for route optimization, employee tracking, and improving service delivery. Geolocation data is treated as personal information and is protected with industry-standard security measures. It is shared only with authorized personnel and is not disclosed to any third party without your consent, except as required by law.

Collection and Use of Non-Personal Information

TrakLogger automatically receives and records non-personal information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page you requested. TrakLogger may use this information to fulfill your requests for services. However, TrakLogger does not connect this non-personal data to any personal information collected from you.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

All rights to data collected from employers (who sign up on TrakLogger for monitoring employees) and employees (who log time records on TrakLogger after accepting an invitation from the employer) through our TrakLogger timer application or extensions are owned by the employer.

TrakLogger may disclose your personal information only under the following circumstances:

- We have your express consent to share the information for a specified purpose;
- We need to respond to subpoenas, court orders or such other legal process;

User ID Tracking

TrakLogger uses Google Analytics to track and analyze website visits and usage. Google Analytics uses a unique User ID when a user is authenticated and logged in.

On behalf of TrakLogger, Google Analytics tracks users flow, location by country, language, browser and operating system, internet service provider and devices used to access TrakLogger. TrakLogger tracks this information to improve service to its clients.

TrakLogger will not upload any data that allows Google to personally identify an individual (such as name, Social Security Number, email address, or any similar data), or data that permanently identifies a particular device (e.g. IP address).

If you do not consent to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information as outlined in this policy, please do not provide any personal information to TrakLogger. If you have provided personal information to TrakLogger and no longer consent to its use or disclosure as outlined herein, please notify TrakLogger at contact@TrakLogger.com.

Security

TrakLogger uses industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions.

We also safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access, through access control procedures, network firewalls and physical security measures.

Further, TrakLogger retains your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes identified above or as required by law.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

TrakLogger may at any time, with prior notification to our registered users, amend this policy from time to time. Please review this policy periodically. Your continued use of TrakLogger websites after any such amendments signifies your acceptance thereof.
